Instructions:

- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, onions, garlic, flour, salt, and pepper.
3. Prepare the Cream Mixture:
- In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream and milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- Pour the warm cream mixture over the layered potatoes in the Crock Pot.
- Dot the top with butter pieces.
4. Cook the Potatoes:
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Cover and continue to cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Serve:
- Once cooked, turn off the Crock Pot and let the potatoes sit for about 10 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve hot.
